Non Toxic Cookware At Target: The 10 Pans I Recommend

After working in cookware stores and researching non-toxic products for over 20 years (as well as being a prolific home cook!), I’ve got opinions on which pans are the most useful in the kitchen.

So I scoured my local Target store and Target.com to find the best non-toxic pans for all your cooking needs. Hope this helps you find your new favorite cooking pan!

A basic stainless steel skillet is useful for so many things, from searing meats to sautéing vegetables to simmering sauce based dishes. These 10″ and 12″ stainless skillets from Cuisinart have a three-layer base that includes a layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel, for durability + heat conductivity.

We appreciate having a deeper sauté pan with a lid to use for larger pieces of meat and to make sauces for a crowd. This 4.5 quart stainless steel sauté pan from Caraway is fully clad, meaning the 5 layers of steel and aluminum are spread throughout the pan, not just on the bottom, allowing for high precision cooking.

A deep, cast iron skillet is a staple in our kitchen. We use it for everything from searing meats and simmering stews to frying eggs and baking bread! This 12″ cast iron skillet from Lodge comes pre-seasoned with a naturally non-stick finish and will last a lifetime when properly cared for.

Most people seem to want at least one non-stick pan in their cookware collection and if you do, you’ll want to avoid pans made with PFAS chemicals and look for a ceramic non-stick pan instead.
