Spotlight On: Natrol Melatonin for Managing Your Sleep Schedule

Find out how Natrol Melatonin can help you manage sleep during times of transition like daylight saving time.

Natrol Melatonin for Managing Sleep

Thank you to Natrol for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own.

Daylight saving time is upon us again and I don’t know about you, but I am EXCITED! It’s been a rough winter here in Minnesota and I know a lot of you have experienced the same. I think we’re all ready for longer days and stronger sun!

The only bad thing about Spring in my opinion, is losing an hour of sleep. That pesky daylight savings time change can really mess with our sleep schedules and cause the whole family to get out of whack.

You wouldn’t think that one little hour could mess with us so much but it turns out our sleep schedules are pretty delicate. And if even one person in the family doesn’t get enough sleep, you know how that can disrupt everyone’s schedule….it’s not pretty.

Luckily, there are some easy things we can do to get our sleep schedules back on track during the daylight saving time transition:

  • Set bedtime a little bit earlier every night
  • Put away phones at bedtime and read a book instead
  • Diffuse relaxing essential oils
  • Wear an eye pillow to bed if it is light outside
  • Take melatonin supplements

How Melatonin Works

Melatonin is a key factor in getting a good night’s sleep. Melatonin is a naturally produced hormone and serves as our body’s biological clock, helping to manage our sleep and wake cycles. Daylight saving time can be so disruptive for sleep due to the time change and shifting your schedule forward an hour. In addition, age, stress levels, diet, and exercise can affect our bodies’ ability to produce melatonin.

The good news is, melatonin supplementation is a safe and very effective solution.

Natrol Melatonin Gummies and Fast Dissolve

Natrol Melatonin for Better Sleep

When we “spring ahead” for daylight saving time, I use Natrol Melatonin to help me adjust to my new sleep schedule and actually improve my sleep during the daylight savings time transition. Because as any busy parent knows, there’s no extra down time no matter what new season comes around.

Natrol Melatonin assists with occasional sleeplessness and helps you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer and wake up feeling refreshed.*

Natrol Melatonin is available in a variety of forms, including Gummies and Fast Dissolve Tablets.

  • Natrol Melatonin Gummies are strawberry flavored gummies made with organic sweeteners and are non-GMO, gelatin-free and vegetarian.
  • Natrol Melatonin Fast Dissolves are also strawberry flavored, and the fast dissolve form enables faster absorption and can be taken anytime, without water.

Natrol Melatonin is 100% drug-free and non-habit forming, so there’s no concern about taking it whenever you need it. You can find Natrol® Melatonin online on Amazon, and at many local stores like Walgreens, CVS, Target, Sprouts and other natural food stores. Look for the signature purple cap!

Are you looking forward to “springing ahead”?
