Spotlight On: Natrol Melatonin for Managing Your Sleep Schedule
Thank you to Natrol for sponsoring this post, all opinions are my own.
Daylight saving time is upon us again and I don’t know about you, but I am EXCITED! It’s been a rough winter here in Minnesota and I know a lot of you have experienced the same. I think we’re all ready for longer days and stronger sun! The only bad thing about Spring in my opinion, is losing an hour of sleep. That pesky daylight savings time change can really mess with our sleep schedules and cause the whole family to get out of whack. You wouldn’t think that one little hour could mess with us so much but it turns out our sleep schedules are pretty delicate. And if even one person in the family doesn’t get enough sleep, you know how that can disrupt everyone’s schedule….it’s not pretty.
Luckily, there are some easy things we can do to get our sleep schedules back on track during the daylight saving time transition:

How Melatonin Works
Melatonin is a key factor in getting a good night’s sleep. Melatonin is a naturally produced hormone and serves as our body’s biological clock, helping to manage our sleep and wake cycles. Daylight saving time can be so disruptive for sleep due to the time change and shifting your schedule forward an hour. In addition, age, stress levels, diet, and exercise can affect our bodies’ ability to produce melatonin. The good news is, melatonin supplementation is a safe and very effective solution.Natrol Melatonin for Better Sleep
