Natural & Organic Moisturizers That Will Save Your Face This Winter

There’s nothing worse than a parched face.

You know that tight feeling you get on your face, when the moisturizer you used wasn’t quite rich enough? You wiggle your face around a bit and think – wait a minute – did I forget to put on my moisturizer? The worst is when you’ve already left the house. Hate that! I’ve even resorted to dabbing a bit of hand lotion on my face when I didn’t have anything else.

Winter means a whole new ball game when it comes to skin care. It’s partly due to dry indoor air, and partly to the cold winds outside. Either way, I find that I need a ton more moisture on my face during the winter months.

Now you could run out to the nearest drug store and pick up some random moisturizer, or keep using the one you’ve used for years because your mom recommended it.

BUT….maybe it’s time to switch to a moisturizer with safer ingredients. Something without parabens, phthalates from artificial fragrances, or other potentially harmful ingredients.

Lucky for us, there are plenty of better choices – moisturizers made with nourishing naturally derived, non-toxic ingredients, and many of them can be found at stores around town like Target, Whole Foods or your local co-op.

So here’s a peek at my winter skin care routine using my favorite natural & organic moisturizers. I get bored using the same products every day, so I have a few different options to choose from – both for day and night. I’m hoping you’ll see something in this lineup that might work for you too!
