Is Seed Probiotic Worth It? My Honest Review
In this Seed Probiotic review, you’ll learn how Seed Daily Synbiotic, a combination probiotic and prebiotic, can benefit your gut health and whole body health, while being kind to the planet at the same time.
Thank you to Seed for sponsoring this post.
Do you ignore your gut health? Most of us do, but we probably shouldn’t.
I’ll admit, I ignored my gut for years but after learning how important gut health is to our overall health, I knew I needed to pay more attention.
That changed when I was introduced to Seed – a probiotics company that has taken microbiome science to a new level.
There’s no shortage of probiotics brands out there, but Seed does clinical trials and third-party testing to ensure that their probiotic strains can survive stomach acid and actually work to promote digestive health.
After taking Seed Probiotic for over five years now, I can say that my gut health has never been better!

What is Seed Daily Synbiotic?
Probiotics are a dime a dozen these days, but Seed makes a product that is pretty unique. Seed DS-01™ Daily Synbiotic is a combination probiotic + prebiotic designed to deliver 24 clinically proven strains in a single dose.
The probiotic strains in Seed are validated by 23+ strain-specific clinical studies, and are naturally-occurring and not found in yogurt or fermented foods and beverages. Prebiotics are included to fuel the growth of beneficial microbes inside the gut.
The 2-in-1 capsule that has a probiotic inner capsule and a prebiotic outer capsule protects against stomach acid and ensures viability through digestion – meaning the strains make it to where it matters—your colon. Take a few seconds to see how the capsule works:
How Seed Probiotic Benefits Your Health
Fun fact: You have over 38 trillion microorganisms in your body. Yep, half of our bodies (by cell count) are made up of microbes – that’s a lot of good bacteria to take care of!
Seed probiotic was developed to help take care of those microbes and to impact the health of your whole body at the same time. Seed is obviously meant to be great for digestive health, but more surprisingly, it delivers benefits for heart health, skin health, immune function, and metabolism.
Plus Seed Daily Synbiotic is the first to include probiotic strains that help with folate production, which is fantastic for women’s health.
Bonus: There is no need to refrigerate Seed Daily Synbiotic – making it super easy to take whenever it is convenient for you. (I take mine first thing every morning on an empty stomach.)

My Honest Seed Probiotic Review
Hey, we all have different guts. Yours is going to be very different from mine – I get that. But the cool thing about the Seed Daily Synbiotic is that it’s been clinically-studied to provide benefits around gastrointestinal function – no matter what your microbiome looks like.
As someone who has occasional digestive issues I can say that I appreciate being more “regular” after taking Seed Synbiotic. No more bloating, less gas and consistent, “normal” bowel movements are what I’ve noticed. And the fact that the health benefits go beyond digestive health is icing on the cake.
Even though I always start with a base of healthy food, I‘m a believer that a high quality probiotic + prebiotic like Seed daily synbiotic is a great investment in my health – and I’ve been taking Seed probiotics daily for many years now!

This sounds awesome! It is so great to find a company that CARES like that!! I recently shifted from ‘avoiding companies that are knowingly poisoning us’ to ‘companies that are consciously doing good’ so I love hearing of more companies like this!
Also, I love knowing that this prebiotic/probiotic combo actually makes it to the colon. That’s a super important aspect that a lot of people don’t even know about!!
I agree – the mission behind the company is SO important to me! Seed is super dedicated to the research side but they are also kind of silly in their marketing, which I love as well.
As someone who practices functional nutrition, I can validate that, yes, the gut is THE most important piece of each person’s health puzzle. This isn’t surprising if you think about it. You are what you ABSORB!! Seed is a fantastic product. Most probiotics out there are a waste of money. My other favorite is MegaSporeBiotic from Microbiome Labs which is heat stable up to 450 degrees and can survive the stomach acid! Taking one of these products regularly can go a long way toward prevention of chronic disease. Great post!
So glad to hear you agree about the importance of gut health! There’s still so much more to learn about it, but taking a high quality probiotic is an important step for health!
I need to get more familiar with the Seed products, they seem quite reasonable.
There’s a 15% discount in the post if you are interested in trying them out! 🙂
I’ve been obsessed with the microbiome for years now, and have tested so many different types. I haven’t seen or tried this one. Love that they are combining the pre-and probiotics together in one capsule. Also LOVE that they are using glass jars and good packaging, and a refill!! I took a look at the strains and quite like them, am a bit sensitive to mushrooms but think it is such a small amount. I agree with Chelsea, MegaSporeBiotic is my favorite at the moment. Will definitely put this on my have to try list 🙂
The sustainable packaging and refills is a HUGE bonus for me too!
