Cumin & Orange Hummus Recipe

A mild hummus dip flavored with orange juice, cumin and just a bit of garlic.

Equipment

  • food processor or high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 1 15- oz can garbanzo beans drained (or 1¾ cups if you cook your own)
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup tahini sesame paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small clove garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients together in a food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Scrape down sides of food processor and re-blend if needed.
  • Serve hummus with a rainbow of raw vegetables or pita chips.
