Homemade kombucha is surprisingly easy to make.
Plus it's delicious and healthy too!
Start by boiling water and adding black tea bags and sugar.

Let steep for 10 to 15 minutes, then remove tea bags.
When liquid is at room temperature, pour into a glass container.
Add a SCOBY and some finished kombucha to the container.
Cover with a breathable cloth and let ferment for 1 to 3 weeks.
Transfer kombucha to bottles.

Do a secondary fermentation by adding fruit to the bottles to increase carbonation.
