Chai Spiced Almond Butter Recipe

Next time you’re looking for a quick win in the kitchen to make you feel like a gourmet chef – even just for a few minutes – try making this easy recipe:

The main ingredients are almonds, blended together with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, ground cloves and allspice. Yum!

Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor or high speed blender.

Step 1:

Mix well, stopping to scrape down sides frequently, until ingredients are very smooth.   This will take 5 to 10 minutes, depending on your blending machine.

Step 2:

Enjoy your Chai Spiced Almond Butter plain or spread it on banana halves and doctor it up a bit with chopped almonds, additional spices and maybe a drizzle of honey. Go crazy – add some chocolate chips and coconut flakes!
