Tint Skin by Beautycounter will change the way you think about foundation.

Beautycounter Tint Skin

When you hear the word foundation, what do you think? Greasy, thick, pasty, smelly? Something that makes you look like you’re trying too hard or ready for a Halloween costume party?

I may receive commissions from purchases made through links in this article. Full Disclosure

Over the years I’ve tried a lot of foundation makeup and haven’t found any that I’ve loved. They were either too thick or smelled weird or both. So I was a bit skeptical when I was offered a sample of Tint Skin Foundation by Beautycounter. But knowing that Beautycounter products tend to rock, I gave it a whirl and was thoroughly impressed!

What’s so special about Tint Skin?

What I love most about Beautycounter Tint Skin is that it gives my skin a smooth look and a bit of a glow – without looking like I’ve got a ton of makeup on. I’m all about the natural look and this product is nothing like the goopy foundation makeup I have used in the past!

  • super lightweight formula
  • blends in incredibly easily – especially using the Retractable Foundation Brush
  • moisturizing enough to use alone
  • no nasty ingredients (Skin Deep rating of 2)
  • light, pleasant scent
  • comes in 8 shades (I use Linen)

Note – the retractable complexion brush is really key to getting smooth coverage using very little product. Watch this video to see how to use it.

After steering clear of foundation for years, Tint Skin has turned me into a foundation convert!

FYI – I’m a Beautycounter consultant! You can order from me here and feel free to email me ([email protected]) with any questions.

Have you tried any Beautycounter products yet? What are your favs?

You should try it Beth! Just FYI – you can purchase directly online if you don’t have a connection with a Beautycounter consultant.

Finding safe, non-toxic makeup is SO hard these days because so many ingredients aren’t even listed on the labels! It’s nice to know there’s a trustworthy company out there who has done the research and is being transparent about what they use.

I agree Alicia – once I find a company with safe ingredients and products that work well – I tend to stick with them!

I agree I LOVE the tinted moisturizer, it looks so natural which is one of the things I like the most. And of course the company’s dedication to safety, performance and transparency 🙂

I couldn’t agree more, I love this tinted moisturizer. The only thing that would make it 110% perfect would be if it had sunscreen in it too. But I’ll take it as it is. I wore it today and my sister was raving about the way my skin looked.

They actually just came out with a Dew Skin that does have SPF! It’s lighter than tint skin and awesome. I’m an incredibly discerning and critical person–especially of companies with direct sales components, but have actually decided to join myself as a consultant. Eek!
