Spotlight On: So Delicious Cashew Milk Frozen Desserts

So Delicious cashew milk frozen dessert

FACT: No one in my house is lactose intolerant. We eat plenty of (mostly organic) dairy products every day. But over the years we’ve found that we also love a lot of the dairy alternatives out there – especially almond milk, but some others too.New Product Spotlight via mindfulmomma.com

When I was sent samples of a new dairy-free dessert from So Delicious, I wasn’t prepared for how much we all would flip over it. So Delicious Cashew Milk Frozen Desserts are decadent frozen desserts made with a base of nutrient rich cashew milk. They mix in all the goodies you’d expect in traditional ice cream (chocolate, caramel, coffee, cookie dough), except that everything is GMO-free! Unlike some dairy-free desserts this one has no compromise about it – it’s totally the Haagen-Dazs of dairy free! Even my picky boys gobbled it up and asked me to buy it again.

The line includes 5 flavors that are soy-free, gluten-free and Non-GMO Project verified.

  • Cappuccino
  • Dark Chocolate Truffle
  • Salted Caramel Cluster
  • Snickerdoodle
  • Creamy Cashew

If you are dairy-free, I’m betting you’ll never miss real ice cream again. If you’re not, I bet you’ll be hooked, just like us!

What’s your favorite frozen dessert?

Are you ready for fruit crisp season? I wasn't until a couple of days ago when I had a basket of apricots and some garden grown rhubarb that I need to use. I knew I didn't have a recipe for that exact combination and I wasn't sure if you could swap out fruits in a recipe or if that was a recipe for disaster. Maybe you want to … [Continue reading]

A Week Without Sweets and The Value of Breaking Habits

A Week Without Sweets and The Value of Breaking Habits www.mindfulmomma.com

The minute my boys get home from school, they always want a "sweet snack", which usual means a couple of cookies or maybe a piece of candy if they have some from a holiday or special occasion. After dinner it's the same routine - "What's for dessert?", they ask! Imagine my surprise when, completely out of the blue my boys decided that … [Continue reading]

Gettin’ in the Garden

getting in the garden via mindfulmomma.com

For us Midwesterners, Memorial Day weekend is all about getting things planted.  Sure, we get started a bit earlier but around here that's considered risky 'cause you never know when a snowstorm might hit.  Seriously. With 2 kids, our gardening efforts have been less than stellar for the past few years.  But this year, … [Continue reading]
