In her many years of practice, Nancy has learned that the key to helping kids eat healthy is getting them to WANT to eat healthy.

Her series of 7 short videos, Eat Right. Drink Right. Live Right., helps kids and teens quickly understand the importance of healthy eating and shows them exactly how to do it. The “bite-size” videos feature a diverse group of kids, amazing (and even shocking) demonstrations that show kids (Nancy doesn’t believe in “telling”) what’s in foods and drinks, and she suggests simple tactics that kids can implement immediately to make positive changes in what they put into their bodies.

In the video “Good and Bad Fast Foods”, kids inspect some chicken nuggets and don’t see much chicken. They learn that chicken nuggets contain only about 19% protein and about 38 other ingredients.

Indiegogo Fundraising Campaign

The Eat Right. Drink Right. Live Right. videos have already been produced but additional funds are needed to help spread the word and to fulfill Nancy’s dream to donate videos to kids in need.

Nancy’s goal is to get her videos seen by as many children as possible, especially those families who might not be able to afford to purchase them.

To that end, she has started an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds. From June 16 – July 23, 2014, Nancy hopes to raise $7500 (actually, much more!) to have funds to give away free DVDs to kids in need and spread the word about the project. Nancy has whipped up some great perks and weekly specials for everyone who donates - there is an option for everyone.
