DIY Chalkboard Paint Project
Who doesn’t love a chalkboard? A big, blank slate to scribble and draw whatever you want….and then erase it all and start over again? Yes please!! I’ve often thought a whole chalkboard wall would be fun to have in the house, but I don’t quite have the guts to do it. Maybe some day…..
But 8-year-old Liam and I recently had the chance to do a small chalkboard project together. Lullaby Paints, maker of award-winning, safe, eco-friendly paints, sent us a chalkboard paint kit to review.

Why use Lullaby chalkboard paints?
For lots of reasons:- Completely non-toxic ingredients
- No VOCs (volitile organic compounds) – that’s zero, zilch, nada!
- Safe for kids to use and babies to breathe
- So safe they can be sent in the mail (unlike most paints)
- Odor free
- Fully washable
- Choice of 16 beautiful colors
I have wanted to do this for soooo long and i love that it is ECO!!
All the colors are beautiful, but I particularly love the blush, petunia, and glacier!
That’s a tough choice! I think I’d probably stick to a classic chalkboard color like Evergreen or Charred!
Love the ripened pair. Such a cheerful and fresh color.
I have been wanting to do something with chalkboard paint for a long time. Love that it comes in different colors!
I like the charred and evergreen
I love that these are eco friendly! And I love the chocolate color.

I did not know that the was an eco friendly chalk board paint, how cool! I think the charred color is lovely.
GREAT DIY Project!!! My son would love this!!!!
It really looks easy to do. 🙂 This is a great way to keep kids productive and let them do their own organizing task at home.
But if I would have that for myself, I’d put all my paper docs for filing. All should fit well inside it. 🙂
