8 Candy-Free Easter Basket Ideas

Candy Free Gifts From the Easter Bunny

Easter is coming – and it’s time to start thinking about those Easter baskets! If you’re like me, you don’t want it to be all about the candy (even though it really is), so you’ll look for a few non-candy gifts to throw in for good measure.

It’s easy to go to Target and grab whatever you see from the dollar bins – been there, done that. But the best gift is one that will last beyond the holiday – something handmade or at least well made and not immediately contributing to the landfill. Even though my boys are beyond the Easter gift stage (they still want the candy of course!), I had fun searching for some sweet, candy-free Easter gifts that young kids will love!

Comments

  1. My kids LOVED chalk. Even at 13 my daughter still colors in the driveway with it!

  2. I love the crayon rocks and the carrot. How sweet. Great alternatives to candy!

  3. Okay, the knit chicks are so cute! I may need to buy those for my nieces and send them a little spring treat in the mail!

  4. Wonderful ideas! Nice to focus on something besides candy : ) Because we are Christian, we also like to give gifts that focus on the spiritual side of the holiday. Always a fan of the rebirth symbols too though like sweet little chickies.

  5. love these! So lovely and it’s great they’re handmade. Every year I make little Easter treasures for my kids. The knitted chickens and eggs are the all time favorites.

  6. Love the veggie chalk! Never would have even thought that was an option.
